Core Functions and Applications: The core advantage of a mass flow meter is its direct measurement of the fluid's mass flow rate (typically in kg/h or t/h), without relying on compensation parameters such as temperature or pressure. It offers high measurement accuracy (generally ±0.1% to ±0.5%) and is widely used in industries with stringent flow measurement accuracy requirements, such as chemical, food and beverage (e.g., beer production), pharmaceutical, and energy sectors.

The key difference between a mass flow meter and common volumetric flow meters (such as turbine flow meters and electromagnetic flow meters) lies in their measurement methods. Volumetric flow meters measure the volume of fluid flowing per unit time (m³/h), requiring density conversion to obtain mass; while mass flow meters directly output the mass flow rate, avoiding errors caused by density variations, making them particularly suitable for multi-component fluids or scenarios with large density fluctuations.
